We are seeking an Accounting Analyst for a contract position with a dynamic Fortune 50 company located in Tysons, VA. Responsibilities include:

• Participating in the development and management of project plans related to application development initiatives, from project planning and design through testing, implementation and maintenance
• Participating in both business and strategic planning and demonstrating leadership in the use of business analysis tools and methodologies
• Educating project team members and the business community on the impact of the technology proposed (e.g., infrastructure) and for articulating strategy and developing contingency plans
• Intake invoices into EUC DB, monitoring general mailbox and processing invoices
• Period of Performance: Three (3) Months, with possible extension

•  2+ years' experience
• Accounting, Invoicing, Cash Management, GL, Analytical and Communication skills
• Able to comprehend basic to complex business issues, contribute to general business projects, translating business needs into understandable requirements
• Have a considerable understanding of current and emerging products, services, processes, and methodologies
• Able to understand business requirements, goals, and risks in order to formulate and define technical scope and objectives of projects
• MS Excel Proficiency
